International Collaboration

We were honored to represent our study programme Print Media and Packaging Technologies (PP). As one of Europe’s leading academic institutions for media education and engineering, Prof. Dr. Volker Jansen shared our educational and research activities, highlighting the importance of internationally oriented engineering programmes in preparing the next generation of professionals for the rapidly evolving print and packaging industry.

The event brought together universities, industry representatives, printing and packaging companies, professional associations, and governmental stakeholders from Poland, Central and Eastern Europe, Ukraine, and China with a shared goal: strengthening international collaboration between academia and industry in the printing and packaging sector.

The conference provided an excellent platform to discuss future cooperation in education, research, technology transfer, student exchange, and industry engagement. It was particularly encouraging to see strong commitment from universities, industry associations, and companies to build sustainable international partnerships across Europe and Asia.

A special thank you to Jacek Kuśmierczyk, President of the Gutenberg Brotherhood of the Polish Printing Industry and CEO of Opolgraf, for initiating and organizing this important programme, as well as to our hosts Prof. Dr. Tomasz Chmielewski (Warsaw University of Technology) and Prof. Dr. Dariusz Kazmina (University of Warsaw) for their outstanding hospitality.

We look forward to the next steps of this promising international network and to further strengthening collaboration between education, science, and industry.
